I am pleasantly surprised to report that my first donation has come from quite an unexpected place! A family friend was enjoying her Thanksgiving dinner when she begun telling someone at the table next to her about my trip to Everest this coming September and Childreach, the charity for whom I am sponsoring. In a great display of generosity this lovely person made an immensely generous donation of $200 towards my goal! This amazing display of kindness has been a great way to begin my fundraising and is hopefully a good omen of things to come!!!
