Finally home for Easter!! After 4 months of fundraising with the rest of the team we have managed to hit our team goal of £2400 pounds! For the last couple of months I have been spending my Tuesday nights working the coat room at the Union (Student Center), as well as the coat room at events, such as the Balls for the University, helping us towards our team goal. Adding to the fundraising was our successful "Extreme Gowning" calender, where students paid to submit photos of them in the famous St. Andrews red gowns doing everything from pier jumping to climbing mountains, which we then voted on to produce a calender. The funds from this also went into the team fundraising pot. We also have various street collections which helped us reach our goal!
Now that the team's goal has been reached it is time for me to focus on my personal fundraising. I have raised £200 pounds so far leaving me with £2000 pounds to raise, a daunting number but with some hard work I have faith that I can reach this. Off to start drafting a newspaper article which hopefully I will post about soon!
