So this is a video worth watching if you are interested in the landing at Lukla airpot. This is apparently the highlight of the trip for some and the low point for others!! There is only one runway, at 527 metres or 1,729 ft. long. While that is quite a short runway what makes takeoff and landing there much more interesting is that at the end of the runway is a 700 metre or 2,000 ft cliff drop into the valley below, granting it the title of the most dangerous airport in the world!
